Pheasant feather

Pheasant is the national bird of Japan.
It is a familiar bird that has appeared in Japanese books and folk tales since ancient times.

Its entire body, except for the wings and tail feathers, is a beautiful green color, with blue-green head feathers and red flesh drooping around the eyes.
The back is dark brown with brown patches, and the wings and tail feathers are brownish brown.

This specimen has enclosed pheasant tail feathers.
