Baryte (2.0in cube)

Baryte is named after the Greek word "barys" meaning "heavy".
Although it has a light sky blue appearance, it is a very heavy mineral.
It is in the same group as desert rose and celestite.

It is a profound mineral with unique diamond-shaped crystals that are intricately layered, giving different impressions depending on the angle from which you look at it. Please try to find your favorite angle from all directions.

Baryte formations are like works of art, and there are enough individual differences to make you want to collect them.
