WABARA is "heart-throbbing" Flowers.

This series of WABARA by Rose artist Keiji Kunieda reflects Japanese culture and aesthetics.
A single WABARA, carefully nurtured, is enclosed in a 7cm cube.

There are more than 60 varieties of WABARA presented to date.
Each variety has a name that evokes a sense of Japan.

``Mahola'' is an old word also known as ``Mahoroba,'' which refers to a comfortable place to live, a wonderful place, or a utopia.

I thought that spending time with this flower, which has a beautiful scent and a dignified appearance, would be truly ``mahola'', so I named it the name.
