star fish（Astropecten genus）
A type of echinoderm.
The body is flat and star-shaped, with arms radiating out from the center.
Usually five arms grow, but some species have more, and it is not uncommon for species with five arms to grow four or six arms.
The starfish's body is covered with an endoskeleton, which is made up of small bones arranged closely together.
Small bones are connected to muscles by connective tissue, which allows the body to change its stiffness at will.
