Pterocymbium tinctorium, a deciduous plant belonging to the family of Malvaceae, is often found in Southeast Asia. Branches come out from its trunk at the height of 30 m or above, from where flowers bloom and bear fruits. Because it sends out its seeds on the wind, the seeds are characterized by parachute-like wings.
